Flatmate secretary desk

Thanks to its shallow depth and minimalist design, FLATMATE makes it possible to utilise spaces that are unsuitable for conventional furniture. The unconventionally designed secretary transforms long old corridors into a home office if required, provides a place to write letters in the bedroom or serves as a temporary workstation in a weekend home.

The compact dimensions make FLATMATE the ideal piece of furniture for mobile users in both cases.
The FLATMATE is available in two different technology versions:

Technology package 1: The FLATMATE is fitted with an LED under-cabinet light with integrated socket. The light source can be easily replaced. The integrated socket is always located inside the FLATMATE at the top right.

Technology package 2: The FLATMATE is equipped with an LED light with soft-touch switch, socket and two USB sockets. The light source is included in the scope of delivery and is already installed. The luminaire contains built-in LED lamps that cannot be replaced individually, but the entire technology unit can be easily dismantled and repaired or replaced with a new unit. The LED lamps are extremely durable.
The integrated 220 V socket is located inside the FLATMATE at the top right. The two integrated USB sockets are located inside the FLATMATE at the top left.
The scope of delivery includes a three-part metal set that can be attached to the back wall, consisting of a pad holder, letter stand and shelf. The secretary desk has an additional door on both sides for additional storage space. The three compartments on each side also offer space for files and other items.

FLATMATE has a footprint of just 0.09 m² when closed, making it probably the smallest fully equipped secretary desk on the market. The integrated, flexible interior with storage options for traditional writing instruments as well as tablet PCs and the like combines the features of classic furniture with the new form of networked living and working.

We also offer the FLATMATE with a linoleum coating in four colours. The Forbo Furniture linoleum used is characterised by a silky matt and pleasantly warm surface with an unmistakable feel. Thanks to the natural raw materials, it is naturally antistatic and therefore extremely easy to clean and hygienic. Fingerprints also remain largely invisible. The material is made entirely from renewable raw materials such as linseed oil, resins, wood and limestone flour as well as harmless colour pigments.

• the wall mounting creates a 10 mm wide shadow gap between the wall and the furniture; i.e. the total depth of the secretary is only 132 mm
